Abstract

This paper deals with the scientific evolution of the didactics of foreign languages, an area which has developed form a linguistically-based discipline into an intercultural pedagogic of foreign language. After the change in perspectives and paradigms, we are presented with the revised goals and tasks of the discipline as it is today, which can in short be defined as intercultural language education.
